Check out this handsome fellow! This pretty and well-bred gelding is a 2008 model by 7 Million Dollar Sire, Who Whiz It (by Topsail Whiz) out of an own daughter of multi-million dollar sire, Nu Cash. Clay was purchased from me about 6 months ago and left in training to show NRHA reining. Due to some unforeseen life events for his owner, he is back on the market – no fault of his at all. This gelding is one that I come out of the arena every day saying “I love this horse!” It’s like he goes back to the stall, studies everything you worked on that day and comes back better the next day; his retention and trainability are incredible. He’s showing me he wants to be THE REAL DEAL REINER but is versatile enough to do anything. In just over 5 months, he’s went from being just a good, broke to ride gelding with potential…to sliding 10+ feet effortlessly, turning around steppy and pretty and a trained lead change. He naturally- carries his head and neck pretty and more the style of reiner while still retaining athletic ability. He is stopping big now and is wanting to be a HUGE stopper. He has worked cattle, been roped off of (has the makings of a BIG TIME heel or calf horse), ridden out and crosses new obstacles like an old pro. It is not going to take long to have him show ready in the reining or boxing (I’d love to keep him in training with me). but he would also make a jammin penner/sorter, pleasure/trail, ranch versatility, ranch or rope horse… Not only is this boy talented and beautiful, he is gentle too!
