$$$ “Flint” -2009 AQHA ranch/head horse gelding
A drop-dead gorgeous 10 year old gelding. He is a really well-proportioned guy standing 15.3hh, 1200lbs. SAFE! You can do anything on this horse! He is one-handed broke with a great handle; stops, spins, etc he is our go-to ranch horse whether it’s flagging colts, doctoring yearlings, branding, gathering in tough country or whatever job you need done. He is sure-footed and gentle. We have ridden him in the waves at the beach, out alone or with other horses. This guy can go all day if you ask him to, not one you have to pedal, but he is not hot, spooky, or broncy in any way. He has never bucked with us, even after sitting for a while. Flint will walk out at at nice pace or can really run when you ask him to. This guy is versatile! You can take him to the ranch, use him as a pleasure/trail horse or he could work for about any performance event. He would make a jammin barrel/gymkhana horse, has been started in the arena roping, safe enough for a confident kid or high school rodeo rider. We give lessons on him with advanced beginner riders. This gelding is easy on the eyes too…Huge hip, straight legs, big, hard, black feet. No soundness issues; he recent had a clear soundness exam with a top performance vet. He’s a sweet guy, wants to be your buddy without being rude about it. Truly the whole package. He’s UTD on teeth, feet, sheath and de-worming.
