This stallion is extremely heavy-boned, well-built and stunningly gorgeous; He stands exactly 15hh hands, which is the perfect height for a blend of durability and strength while retaining the quick feet of a more nimble, smaller horse. He has incredible talent and cow sense, “the real deal” cowhorse, consistently marking 73-75’s down the fence with his total domination of cattle. His catty moves and stylish eye appeal paired with amazing draw on a cow makes him stand apart in the show pen and has allowed him to be successfully shown as a straight cutter. In the reining, he has a HUGE, ground-attacking stop, fast correct spins, and nearly invisible lead changes. “Black” is not just a show horse. He good mind and willing demeanor makes him an excellent partner for all other forms of riding, he is a finished head and heel horse and is frequently roped of off both on the ranch and out of the box, as well as ridden out. He is homozygous black so he will never throw a red/red-based foal! He does have one Agouti gene so he can throw bays and buckskins.

As a sire we are excited about his foals. All are big, stout babies who carry his heavy-boned body, phenomenal feet and legs and beautiful conformation. Each foal we have started here has had an excellent mind, easy demeanor and natural athletic ability. They are very early maturing and have frequently been mistaken for older horses. They move beautifully and are showing exceptional potential, especially on a cow.
