Penny aka Smart Pepsanic
A GENTLE 12yo mare by Smart Peppy Doc out of a Docs Hickory, Reminic bred dam. She was originally trained as a cutter and has done just about everything else too: drill team, princess/queen contests, sorting/penning, ranch work, roping, trail etc. (most of which was done with a youth rider). Penny is a little mare, standing about 14 hands on a good day and almost just as wide as she is tall... but her feet are quick enough to do any job asked of her! Very cowy! She has a eye catching movement on a cow, really clean in the front end. Fun to ride, QUIET and easy to get along with! She has a nice slow trot and lope and is suitable for an advanced beginner rider of any age on up. Will ride in anything you put in her mouth: snaffle or stiff bit. Very quiet and willing, rides around bareback, crossed the bridge and tarp the first time like a pro; gentle, gentle but plenty of go when asked, not a deadhead. Versatile horse for many disciplines from performance to pleasure/trail riding. She would make a dandy sorter/penner! She is priced at $6k.
